Nexxus Iberia Private Equity has subscribed a capital increase, achieving a relevant minority stake in the capital of Solutex, a leading manufacturer of highly concentrated Omega 3, to support its international growth.
THE COMPANY
Founded in 1995 by Dr. Fernando Moreno and Verónica Olaya and based in Madrid, Solutex is one of the international leaders in the manufacture of high Omega 3 concentrates from fish and algae oils, mainly used as a natural ingredient in pharmaceutical products and food supplements. The company is one of the market leaders with about 100 employees and exports 80% of production worldwide, mainly to North America, Asia and Europe. Solutex recorded sales of €23.5 million in 2021.
